Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Dry roast 1 cup Mung bean until it is well roasted and set aside.
  2. Dry roast 1/4 cup Walnuts.
  3. Add the roasted Mung bean and Walnuts to a high-speed blender along with seeds of 5 cardamom pods and grind to a powder (not very fine)
  4. Heat 1.5 tbsp ghee in a pan and add 1/4 cup chopped cashews and 1/4 cup chopped raisins.
  5. Keeping the heat on low, add the mung bean-walnut mixture and 3/4 cup powdered jaggery.
  6. Mix well and switch off the heat when the jaggery starts to incorporate well into the mixture.
  7. Make small round balls after a minute or so before the mixture cools down completely, else you won't be able to make balls out of it.
  8. Enjoy once it cools down. You can also refrigerate for later use.

Notes

Reduce Jaggery if you don't prefer it too sweet.
