“S.M.A.S.H.” sushi burrito
SMASH is a fun little acronym referring to a group of seafood that are extremely nutrient dense & full of those beautiful omega 3's! it stands for salmon, mackerel, anchovies, sardines, & herring. I decided to put a little spin on this fun acronym to create a nutrient packed sushi burrito! it's really a superfood explosion!!!
Ingredients
S: seafood
- Salmon, Canned, or any "smash" canned seafood
- 0 Mackerel, or any "smash" canned seafood
- Anchovies, or any "smash" canned seafood
- Sardines, Canned, or any "smash" canned seafood
- Herring, Canned, or any "smash" canned seafood
M: mango
- Mango, diced
A: avocado
- Avocado, diced
S: seaweed
H: hot sauce
- 2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp Dairy-Free Buffalo Sauce - Primal Kitchen
- 1/2-1 Tbsp1/2-1 Tbsp1/2-1 Tbsp White Miso Paste
- 1 - 2 Tbsp1 - 2 Tbsp1 - 2 Tbsp Golden Monkfruit Sweetener (with Allulose) - Lakanto
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Chipotle Powder
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Salt and Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- in a bowl, mix together all “hot” sauce ingredients; add water as needed to thin sauce
- add 1 can of drained seafood of choice to a bowl & ~½ the spicy sauce.
- to assemble burritos place a coconut wrap in the diamond position, then add a quarter sheet of nori seaweed, 1/2 of your spicy seafood mixture & any or all additional toppings.
- wrap roll from the bottom, then fold in sides & continue to roll.
- leave about a 1” top seem to dab a little water on to hold the roll together.
- optional: heat a skillet over medium heat, then pan fry burritos for 30-60 seconds on each side.
- serve with extra hot sauce for dipping & enjoy!
