Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. start by browning your ground beef with salt and pepper. Add onions, carrots and garlic. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until they start to get soft. Add your canned tomatoes, the dried spices and the rest of the veggies. Let simmer for at least 30 minutes. Taste for seasoning. At this point you may need to add a little extra salt based on your own pallet. Please note that the longer this cook's the more the flavors develop. Boil your favorite pasta. I like to serve this dish with some fresh parmesan cheese on top and enjoy!
