100 recipes in Apple vs Pumpkin showdown
In our largest turnout yet, our Apple vs Pumpkin campaign brought 100+ new recipes onto FoodSocial. Apple secured the win by just two recipes, taking the crown from last year’s pumpkin victory.

The FoodSocial creator apple vs. pumpkin showdown is back, and we are kicking things off early so you can gather ideas and get your recipes ready before the season is in full swing.
Every year apple and pumpkin go head to head to see which one will win over the most fans. Some people are loyal to apple, others will always choose pumpkin, and a few of us happily claim both.
This year our creators teamed up with some amazing brands to create recipes that show off their favorite fall flavors. Here is how it all works:
Recipes featuring apples or apple flavors count as votes for Team Apple 🍎
Recipes featuring pumpkin or pumpkin flavors count as votes for Team Pumpkin 🎃
We will see which flavor takes the crown, but we all win when the season’s best flavors are on the table. Keep reading to see which flavor came out on top this year!
