Breakfast Danish
Flaky, golden, and bursting with sweet berry flavor — these Easy Berry Cream Cheese Danishes are a deliciously simple pastry that taste like they came straight from a bakery!
Ingredients
- 111 Puff Pastry
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Cream Cheese, Full Fat, softened
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Cane Sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Prepared Apple Pie Filling, (option) sub berries
- 111 Egg

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat Oven to 375°F
- Prep cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour the working surface, and lay out puff pastry.
- Cut puff pastry into 3” x 3” squares.
- Using a fork, poke holes in the bottom of the puff pastry to prevent excess rising.
- Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla, and spoon onto the center of pastries.
- Then, add the desired amount of berries or pie filling to the pastry.
- Whisk together egg and 1 T. water, creating an egg wash. Using a pastry brush, brush the edges of danish with egg wash.
- Fold Danish in half, making a triangle. Press sides together using a fork.
- Brush the top of the danishes with egg wash.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until puff pastry is cooked through and golden brown.
