  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and turmeric. Set aside.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and orange juice and if using, orange blossom water.
  4. Add egg and vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll in Cinnamon Orange Sugar Mix: Scoop 1 tablespoon balls and roll into the cinnamon orange sugar mix.
  7. Bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes and THEN smash with a spoon and bake for a final 2 minutes for optimal chewiness!
