Healthy Air Fried Chicken Nuggets – High Protein, Low Carb
This recipe is an easy-to-follow guide to healthy, fried chicken. It’s super high in protein, has zero sugar, almost no carbs and is Keto/Diabetic friendly.

- .5 lb.5 lb.5 lb Chicken Breast, cut into nuggets

- 6 oz6 oz6 oz High Protein, Low-Carb Flour (all-purpose flour replacer) - Unbelievabuns, 1 bag

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Milk

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Paprika

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Black Pepper

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Salt

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Garlic Powder

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Layout your chicken breast on a baking sheet and pat dry. Season the chicken to your liking.
- In a shallow bowl, ddd egg and milk and whisk together. In another shallow bowl, add UnbelievaFlour and seasonings, stirring together.
- Use tongs, a fork or use your hands, but wear gloves, transfer one chicken nugget to the egg wash bowl, then transfer to the flour bowl. You’ll want to let the excess egg wash drip off the chicken before adding to the flour bowl. If you want extra crispy chicken, you can repeat this step again.
- Lastly, transfer the coated chicken nugget back to the baking sheet.
- Air Fryer: after all chicken has been coated, pre-heat your air fryer to 400°. Prepare your air fryer basket according to manufacturers directions. While the air fryer is heating, spray your chicken nuggets with the cooking spray. Be sure to thoroughly coat each nugget. In order for the flour to cook, it must be wet. Fry for 5-7 minutes, flip each nugget and fry for another 3-7 minutes depending on your preference. It’s that easy and it’s super delicious!
