This Limoncello Spritz Recipe is a creamy, citrusy, bubbly dream of a cocktail. It’s the classic Italian spritz you love, but with an added dose of luxury, thanks to coconut cream and lemon simple syrup.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Lemon Simple Syrup
  2. Combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar in a sauce pot over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add lemon slices to the sauce pot and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and let it sit and steep for about 15 minutes.
  5. Strain the syrup into a jar or bottle, discarding the lemon slices. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  6. Limoncello Spritz Recipe
  7. Pour Limoncello, cream of coconut and lemon simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds.
  8. Fill your favorite cocktail glass with ice halfway. Strain the shaker mixture into the glass.
  9. Top with Prosecco. Give it a gentle stir. Garnish and enjoy!

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh mint, lemon slices or rim with shredded coconut.
