Limoncello Spritz Recipe with a Coconut Twist
This Limoncello Spritz Recipe is a creamy, citrusy, bubbly dream of a cocktail. It’s the classic Italian spritz you love, but with an added dose of luxury, thanks to coconut cream and lemon simple syrup.
Ingredients
Lemon Simple Syrup
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Water
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Sugar, Raw
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Lemon, sliced

Limoncello Spritz
- 2 oz2 oz2 oz Limoncello
- 1 oz1 oz1 oz Cream of Coconut, Sweetened
- .5 oz.5 oz.5 oz Lemon, the Lemon Simple Syrup from above

- 3 oz3 oz3 oz Prosecco, to top

- Lemon Simple Syrup
- Combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar in a sauce pot over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add lemon slices to the sauce pot and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let it sit and steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the syrup into a jar or bottle, discarding the lemon slices. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Limoncello Spritz Recipe
- Pour Limoncello, cream of coconut and lemon simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds.
- Fill your favorite cocktail glass with ice halfway. Strain the shaker mixture into the glass.
- Top with Prosecco. Give it a gentle stir. Garnish and enjoy!
Notes
Optional: Garnish with fresh mint, lemon slices or rim with shredded coconut.
