Marinated Skirt Steak & Chimichurri
This steak will melt in your mouth! The marinade is outstanding. Topped with a fresh chimichurri and the entire meal is complete perfection. ENJOY!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Skirt Steak - US Wellness Meats
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Coconut Aminos
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Thyme, Dried
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Basil, Fresh, Packed
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Parsley, Loosely Packed
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Cilantro, Loosely Packed
- 333 Garlic, Cloves
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Red Onion, Diced

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- CHIMICHURRI ASSEMBLY~
- Add all of the ingredients to a food processer.
- Process until smooth and fully combined.
- STEAK ASSEMBLY~
- In a medium sized mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Marinate steak, preferably for at least 24 hours.
- Preheat grill on high heat, roughly 550° Fahrenheit.
- Place the steaks on the grill for 4 minutes, flipping only once, then grill for an additional 3 minutes on the other side for a medium rare steak.
- Adjust cooking time based on personal preference.
- Set aside for 10 minutes to let the steaks collect their juices. Do not cover.
- Thinly slice and serve.
- Serve the chimichurri on top of the sliced steak.
