This old fashioned pumpkin bread recipe is made with nutritious almond and cassava flours, sweetened with real maple syrup, and studded with chocolate chips for a healthier twist on a classic fall favorite.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray bread pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla, and almond butter until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk baking soda, almond flour, cassava flour, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet, stir until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Stir in melted butter.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan, spread evenly. Top with extra chocolate chips if desired. Bake 50 minutes.
  6. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then remove and transfer to cooling rack.
