Protein Pickle Popcorn
If you have seen the Kloud Popcorn and have been wanting to try you you have to try the at home pickle popcorn version. It’s tangy, buttery and oh so good!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Coconut Oil - Thrive Market

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted - Kerrygold
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Popcorn Kernels
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Unflavored Protein Powder - Nuzest, I used naked whey
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Melt butter and coconut oil in a pot.
- 2. When the oils are melted and starting to slightly simmer add your popcorn kernels and cover.
- 3. Shaking the pot clockwise as the kernels start to pop. (Keep the lid on). Once the popcorn stops popping remove and place in your serving bowl.
- 4. In a separate bowl add protein powder and pickle seasoning and mix well.
- 5. Slowing tip the popcorn with the protein mixture and stir until all the kernels are covered in the protein.
- 6. Enjoy!
Notes
You can switch the flavors up and use a Mac and cheese packet instead of the pickle seasoning for a cheesy protein popcorn!
