Save the Day Slow Cooker Pork Roast
This is my go to roast recipe for busy days! It's so easy to prep, and can be used for tacos, nachos, burritos, power bowls, and more!
Ingredients
- 3.5 lb3.5 lb3.5 lb Pork Shoulder Roast - US Wellness Meats

- 1 - 2 Tbsp1 - 2 Tbsp1 - 2 Tbsp Sea Salt, (these measurement are approximate- see notes)

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp New Bae Seasoning - Primal Palate, (These measurements are approximate-see notes)

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Butter, Salted

- 10 cloves10 cloves10 cloves Garlic

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Paprika

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Coriander, Ground
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Sea Salt

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Lime, (juiced)

- 5 oz5 oz5 oz Green Chilies, (canned)
- 15 oz15 oz15 oz Diced Tomatoes, (canned)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Begin by generously salting your roast with sea salt and new bae seasoning.
- Allow Roast to rest for 20 minutes.
- Preheat your crockpot or instant pot.
- Sear each side of roast in butter and garlic cloves. (If you have an instant pot, you can sear your roast before turning it on to the slow cooker setting. If not you will sear in a pan before adding the roast to your slow cooker).
- Combine all other seasonings in a small bowl and sprinkle over top of your roast.
- Then add the rest of your slow cooker ingredients.
- Cook on low in your crockpot for 6-8 hours(the longer the better).
- I love to serve tis pork over jasmine rice with some roasted veggies, in tacos, burritos, nachos and more!

Notes
When you prep your roast before searing, just generously salt it and sprinkle with new bay seasoning evenly over the surface.
