Our summertime go-to? This skirt steak marinade, for sure. It’s perfect for entertaining. Just toss the steak in the marinade in the morning, and by dinnertime, it’s ready for a quick grill session. Big flavor, low effort, and always a hit with the crew.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add all marinade ingredients to a large zip-lock bag and whisk together.
  2. Reserve 2-3 tablespoons of the marinade to pour over grilled steak.
  3. Cut the skirt steak into portions and add to the ziplock bag. Massage the marinade into the steak, press out excess air, and seal.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Let the skirt steak rest on the counter in the marinade for 15 minutes before grilling.
  6. Preheat the grill to 500 degrees.
  7. Grill the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are cooked just the way you like them. Remember to only flip them once.
  8. Let steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Slice thin against the grain. Top with reserved marinade and ENJOY!
