Apple Cinnamon Donut Pops (Paleo)
The flavors of fall all wrapped up in a cute little donut pop. Fun and easy to make, great to get the kids involved in the mess of rolling the pops in cinnamon sugar. Enjoy
Ingredients
Donut
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Coconut Flour
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Tapioca Starch
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Baking Soda
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Salt
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Eggs, large, at room temperature
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup unsweetened Applesauce
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Sugar mix
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Maple Sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix flours, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Mix eggs, oil, apple sauce, honey, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Pour liquid mix into the dry mix and stir until combined. Let sit for 1-2 minutes to thicken up.
- Put a drop of oil in each donut pop reservoir and turn on to heat up. When machine is hot spoon about 1 ½ tsp of batter into each reservoir and close the lid. Let cook for 4-5 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Immediately roll each donut pop in the sugar mix. The sugar will stick better when warm. Enjoy
