Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring each time until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler for melting.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the melted chocolate evenly in a thin layer on the parchment paper. Remember, the thinner you spread it, the thinner the bark will be!
- Sprinkle the M&M's and mini marshmallows onto the melted chocolate, gently pressing them in.
- Pop the sheet into the freezer to let it set (around 20 minutes).
- Once hardened, break the bark into pieces. Allow the bark to sit at room temperatures for about 10 minutes, until the marshmallows soften before enjoying.
Notes
For an allergy-friendly version, select gluten and dairy free ingredients. Before enjoying, remove from the freezer and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes to allow the marshmallows to soften up. The thickness of your bark can be adjusted by how thickly you spread the chocolate; a thinner spread results in thinner bark, while a thicker spread creates a chunkier bark. And if you prefer it even a little sweeter, opt for semi-sweet or milk chocolate instead of the dark chocolate!
