These delectable little baklava bites are not only delicious, but they look cute as a button! Each of them being filled with sweet, authentic greek flavors, amplified by the use of our Kosterina Organic Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil, these are sure to be a favorite by your family and friends. Or, make them for yourself for a quick treat, just store in the fridge and warm up whenever you need a little boost of happiness. Enjoy!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Add Walnuts, Pistachios, and Almonds to a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until fragrant. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  2. Add toasted nuts, lemon zest, EVOO, Sugar, Cinnamon, Salt, and Vanilla to a food processor and pulse to chop.
  3. Add mini filo cups to a mini muffin tin. Fill each filo cup with 1 teaspoon of mixture from the food processor. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. While those are baking, in a saucepan on medium-low heat add in water, honey, and sugar. Turn heat to a simmer and stir every few minutes until combined and thickened, about 10 minutes.
  5. Pour 1 teaspoon of mixture into each cup and let it soak in. Pour another teaspoon into each cup and then chill in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight before serving.
