Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare the Strawberry Jam: In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, honey, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens (about 10-15 minutes). Once thickened, remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
  3. Prepare the Peanut Butter Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup, and mix well until smooth.
  4. Add the protein powder, almond flour, vanilla extract (if using), and salt (if using). Stir until everything is well incorporated and forms a thick mixture.
  5. Line a rectangular dish or loaf pan with parchment paper for easier removal. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared dish, creating an even layer.
  6. Once the strawberry jam has cooled, spread it evenly over the peanut butter base. Place the assembled mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow it to set.
  7. After the base has set, drizzle the melted chocolate over the top and sprinkle with sea salt (if using). Return the dish to the freezer for about 15-20 minutes to harden the chocolate.
  8. Once set, remove from the dish and cut into rectangles or squares. Store the bars in an airtight container in the fridge.
  9. Enjoy!
