Garlic Parsnip Fries
These parsnip fries is seasoned with garlic and salt, then baked in the oven. The fries come out crisp on the outside with a tender center. They're great eaten as-is or with your favorite dipping sauce. Paleo, vegan and whole30 approved!
Ingredients
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Parsnip
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Granulated Garlic

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Maldon Sea Salt Flakes, (optional garnish)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Rinse and peel the outer skin of the parsnips. Cut the tops off, then cut the parsnips into fry shapes. Be sure to remove and discard of the inner core, as it tends to be woody and hard to eat.
- Place the parsnips in a mixing bowl and coat with avocado oil.
- Sprinkle garlic and salt onto parsnips and mix until well coated.
- Spread the fries out on a baking sheet so that none of them are overlapping.
- Place the fries in your oven and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, flip and bake another 5-10 minutes.
- After baking, remove from the oven and top with flaked sea salt.
- Serve warm as-is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
