Apple Fries & Caramel Dip
My apple fries tray is crunchy, sweet, and delicious! Fruit fries dipped in a mouthwatering caramel dip. Dairy-tree and refined sugar free, we have this spread on repeat and you should too!
Ingredients
- 8 whole8 whole8 whole Apple, Organic, I used four different varieties of apples (Granny Smith, Pink Lady/Gala, Golden Delicious, and Cosmic Crisps - you can use any you like!)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Coconut Milk, Full-fat canned, well mixed
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pure Maple Syrup, unsweetened (or any milk you like)

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Cashew Butter, or nut butter

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Sea Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Wash the apples, then use a crinkle cutter to slice them into fries.
- Combine 1 cup water with ½ teaspoon salt and soak the apple fries for 10 minutes to help prevent browning.
- Rinse the apples and pat completely dry.
- Add the maple syrup and full-fat coconut milk to a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20–30 minutes, stirring often, until the mixture reduces and thickens into a caramel-like consistency.
- Remove from the heat and whisk in the cashew butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth and creamy.
- Allow the caramel to cool slightly, it will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Arrange the apple fries on a serving plate and serve with the creamy salted maple caramel for dipping.
