Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket (Edit recipe)

Ditch the refined sugar and the bottle of BBQ sauce!  This brisket is perfect for gameday sandwiches, tacos, nachos, chili, and even salads.  This is so tender and juicy, and packed with the most delicious BBQ flavor.  ENJOY!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a medium sized bowl add all of the ingredients with the exception of the meat. Mix well to form a sauce.
  2. Pour half of the sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add the meat to the slow cooker and pour the remaining sauce over the meat.
  4. Cook on low for 10 hours.
  5. Flip the meat over every couple hours.
  6. After 9 ½ hours of cooking, shred the meat.
  7. It might be a little tough, but use some force with a fork and it will shred.
  8. Add the shredded meat back to the slow cooker with the sauce. Mix well.
  9. Continue cooking on low for the remaining hour.
  10. The meat will be juicy and tender. Mix until the sauce fully coats all of the meat.
  11. This can be served in so many different ways!
  12. You can make sandwiches, tacos, salads, nachos, chili, and even pizza.
  13. ENJOY!
