- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Coconut Aminos
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Avocado Oil
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Cumin, Ground

- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Lime Juice
- 0.50.50.5 Onion, 1/2 Large Onion Sliced
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Butter, Salted

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Make the steak marinade. Add all of the ingredients to a medium sized bowl, mix well, and marinate for 24 hours.
- You can make the queso ahead of time and simply warm it up in a small saucepan over low heat right before serving.
- Prep the queso by caramelizing the onions. Add the onions and the butter to a frying pan over low heat.
- Caramelize the onions by cooking over low heat and stirring occasionally until they have shrunk in size and caramelized.
- Add the onions, cream cheese, and heavy cream to a food processor. Process until smooth.
- Add the cheese mixture to a small sauce pan and heat over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Mix in the salt and the garlic powder. Keep warm, stirring often.
- Preheat grill on high heat, roughly 550° Fahrenheit.
- Place the steak on the grill for 4 minutes, flipping only once, then grill for an additional 3 minutes on the other side for a medium rare steak.
- Adjust cooking time based on personal preference.
- Set aside for 10 minutes to let the steak collect its juices. Do not cover.
- Thinly slice, serve with your favorite taco toppings, tortillas, and top with the caramelized onion queso.
