These gut healthy chicken tenders are incredibly tasty and great for your gut.  Combining sourdough starter and a rich fibrous corn milk drink from Maizly.  Mixing these two together makes an almost buttermilk consistency and adding the sourdough bread crumbs as batter makes an additional gut friendly addition to an already nutritious and delicious recipe.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag or bowl and toss together thoroughly. Seal and refrigerate.
  2. Fill a large saucepan with at least 4 cups of avocado oil over medium high heat and bring to 350 degrees
  3. Cook each tender for at least 2 to 3 minutes per side or until the batter is a crisp golden brown, remove and make sure the temp is at least 165 degrees.
  4. serve with your favorite sauces, a side salad and some fries. Enjoy!
