Air Fryer Apple Rice Paper Rolls
These little apple rolls in the air fryer are such a fun dessert to whip up and they turn out so delicious every time. The combination feels like a perfect kiss of fall. I used a few Primal Palate favorites including their Apple Pie Spice and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie blend, and made a drizzle with Maizly milk to finish them off. It is one of those recipes that surprises you with just how good it is once you take that first bite.
Ingredients

- 4 whole4 whole4 whole Rice Paper Wrappers, 9.5” size
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Apples, Honeycrisp, medium, cored and sliced thinly
- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Pure Original Ghee - Sun Ghee

- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Apple Pie Spice - Primal Palate

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt

- 3 tsp3 tsp3 tsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1.5 tsp1.5 tsp1.5 tsp Lemon Juice
- Avocado Oil Spray
topping
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Pure Original Ghee - Sun Ghee, melted

- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Apple Pie Spice - Primal Palate

- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Blend - Primal Palate

maple vanilla drizzle
- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Cornmilk - Maizly

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
make the apple filling
- In a small skillet over medium heat, add the diced apples, ghee, apple pie spice, and pinch of salt.
- Cook 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples just start to soften but still hold shape.
- Stir in maple syrup and lemon juice. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
prep the rice paper
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper sheet into the water for about 5-10 seconds, just until pliable (it will continue to soften as you work). Then lay it flat on a clean surface.
fill and roll
- Place 2–3 tablespoons of apple filling in the lower third of the rice paper.
- Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly but gently, like a burrito.
- Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Lightly brush each roll with melted ghee and sprinkle the tops with apple pie spice and cinnamon sugar blends.
- Spray the air fryer pan with avocado oil, then place rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
make the maple vanilla drizzle
- Mix together the powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt until smooth. Drizzle on top of the apple rolls and serve any extra on the side for dipping!
