How to Make It
Part 1: Prepare the dough.- Mix warm water and yeast; let it sit for 1–2 minutes.
- Combine high-protein flour (like bread flour or whole wheat flour) and salt in a bowl, then slowly mix in the yeast water to form a dough.
- Knead on a lightly oiled surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Spread ready-made Sturdy Marinara Sauce (look for a high-protein option).
- Shred high-protein mozzarella or use part-skim cheese for a leaner option.
- Choose toppings like grilled chicken, turkey pepperoni, or other lean proteins. Add some veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrients.
- Shape the risen dough into a 7–8 inch circle on parchment paper (no rolling pin needed).
- Spread the Sturdy Marinara Sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and add your toppings.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Carefully place the pizza (with parchment paper) into the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5–6 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
