- Preheat your oven to 350u00b0F (180u00b0C).
- Use a large mixing bowl and hand mixer or a food processor to make these low-carb bread rolls. If you use a food processor, you can make the flour finer.
- Combine the almond flour and ground flaxseed meal in the food processor. Mix for a couple of minutes to make the flour finer.
- Add the rest of the dry ingredients: baking powder, Himalayan salt, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Mix again. The garlic powder and dried thyme are optional for flavor. You can use anything else you like.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with a hand mixer or whisk for a couple of minutes. This step adds volume to the bread rolls and makes them fluffier.
- Add the melted butter to the eggs and dry ingredients. Mix well until everything is combined.
- The mixture is quite liquid, so use ramekins or muffin forms to cook the keto bread rolls. You can also use a bread tin to make it as bread rather than rolls. It tastes great too.
- Grease 4 ramekins (or whatever you use) with a bit of butter.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces and place them in the greased ramekins or muffin forms.
- Cook for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Make sure the keto bread rolls are cooked.
- Leave the low-carb rolls to rest for 5 minutes before taking them out of the ramekins. Enjoy!
Notes
Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh eggs, almond flour, and flaxseed meal will give you the best texture and flavor. Avoid using old or expired ingredients. Beat the Eggs Well: Beating the eggs thoroughly adds volume and makes the bread rolls fluffier. Use a hand mixer or whisk for a couple of minutes. Mix Dry Ingredients Properly: Ensure all dry ingredients are well combined before adding the wet ingredients. This helps in even distribution and better texture. Adjust Seasonings to Taste: Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices. Garlic powder and dried thyme are great options, but you can experiment with others like rosemary or oregano. Store Properly: Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for longer storage. Experiment with Shapes: You can use this recipe to make keto hamburger buns, English muffins, or even a loaf of bread. Adjust the baking time accordingly. Use a skewer or a toothpick to check if the bread rolls are cooked in the middle. if the skewer comes out dry, it’s time to enjoy your creation!
