Baklava Bites
These delectable little baklava bites are not only delicious, but they look cute as a button! Ingredients
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Walnuts

- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Pistachios, Raw
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Almonds

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Organic Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Kosterina

- 1/2 whole1/2 whole1/2 whole Lemon, zested

- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Sugar, Raw
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

- 1/8 tsp1/8 tsp1/8 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Salt

- 24 pieces24 pieces24 pieces Phyllo Dough, 24 mini cups
- 2/3 cup2/3 cup2/3 cup Water
- 1/3 cup1/3 cup1/3 cup Honey

- 1/3 cup1/3 cup1/3 cup Sugar, Raw

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Add Walnuts, Pistachios, and Almonds to a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until fragrant. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Add toasted nuts, lemon zest, EVOO, Sugar, Cinnamon, Salt, and Vanilla to a food processor and pulse to chop.
- Add mini filo cups to a mini muffin tin. Fill each filo cup with 1 teaspoon of mixture from the food processor. Bake for 10 minutes.
- While those are baking, in a saucepan on medium-low heat add in water, honey, and sugar. Turn heat to a simmer and stir every few minutes until combined and thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Pour 1 teaspoon of mixture into each cup and let it soak in. Pour another teaspoon into each cup and then chill in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight before serving.
