Birria Grilled Cheese
Take everything you love about a grilled cheese + everything you love about birria tacos, and combine them! Cheesy, savory, spicy, and absolutely delectable.
Ingredients
- 4 lb4 lb4 lb Beef Chuck Roast, or meat of choice
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Water
- 111 Birria Bomb - EZ Bombs
- Sourdough Bread
- Mayonnaise
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Cilantro
- Onion
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add the meat, 4 cups of water, and Birria Bomb to an Instant Pot. Cook the meat until fully done.
- Shred the cooked birria meat and set aside.
- Spread mayonnaise on the outside of the sourdough bread slices.
- Layer the shredded birria meat, cheddar cheese, cilantro, and onions between the sourdough slices.
- Add more cheddar cheese on top.
- Toast the assembled sandwich on both sides until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Cut the grilled cheese sandwich in half and serve with the consommé.
