Candy Apple Grapes (Edit recipe)

Hear me out. Candy apples are fun, but the artificial color? The ridiculous amount of sugar? Let’s bring candy apples to the current century and give them an autumn glow-up: ✨ cotton candy grapes ✨ date caramel made from dates, water, and sea salt (and pumpkin pie spice if we’re feelin fancy) ✨ crushed peanuts, graham crackers, and granola BOOM. You’re welcome. Thank us by following along @LivLaughCook

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Wash and dry your cotton candy grapes and lay them on a parchment paper lined tray.
  2. In a bowl, add your pitted dates and boiling water. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Once they soften, add the date and half a cup of the water to a high speed blender with the salt. Blend until smooth. If not smooth enough, add a little more water.
  4. Insert a toothpick into your grapes. Dip into the date caramel and twirl into your toppings. Enjoy!
