Christmas Tree Pancakes
If you want to make festive holiday breakfasts for kids but don’t want all the bad ingredients, these pancakes are for you! They are green, but not because of food coloring! The secret ingredient… spinach! And I don’t think your kids will ever know!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Baby Spinach
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Agave Nectar (Syrup)
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Pancake Mix, Your favorite brand!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Heat a skillet on the stove.
- Spray a Christmas tree cookie cutter so the mix doesn’t stick. Set aside.
- In a blender, mix the egg, spinach and hemp seeds together. Pour into a bowl. Add agave and pancake mix. Pour batter into the Christmas tree mold. Once cooked on the bottom, flip and let it cook on the other side.
- Punch the pancake out of the cookie cutter. Cover in syrup and let the kids enjoy!
