CINN-WICH (Sandwich Cinnamon Bun Hybrid) (Edit recipe)

I am always looking for creative ways to really spruce up certain recipes. I love a good traditional Cinnamon Roll, but what if I told you that you can make this Cinnamon Bun Savoury? I decided to take lunch and dessert and fuse it together.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a bowl, add your milk (105F-115F).
  2. Add your sugar and yeast.
  3. with a whisk, mix it.
  4. Add your eggs and melted butter, then mix again.
  5. Add your flour and salt and with a rubber spatula, mix it all together until all flour is hydrated.
  6. On a clean surface, dust with flour and pour your dough out.
  7. Knead dough for 8-10 mins.
  8. If dough becomes too sticky, add 1 TBS of flour at a time until it doesn’t stick.
  9. In a greased bowl with either oil or butter, add your dough and roll around until all lubricated.
  10. Cover it with plastic and a towel for 1-2 hours o until it doubles in size.
  11. In a small bowl, add 1 stick of softened salted butter, then mix vigorously or will a mixer whip it for 1 minute.
  12. Add your maple syrup and cinnamon, then mix until incorporated.
  13. Once your doughs first rise is complete, dust your work surface again and pour your dough out.
  14. Dust dough with flour and your rolling pin.
  15. Roll out until 1/4 (quarter) inch thick.
  16. Spread your maple butter all over.
  17. Please your cheese, deli meats and more cheese.
  18. Roll it up and slice in 8 even pieces.
  19. Please in a grease 9x13 pan.
  20. Brush with mayo to achieve that golden crust. Then cover again. & Let it proof for another 45 mins.
  21. Once second rise is done, please in a 350F oven for 25-30 mins.
  22. Let it cool, then Optionally brush with more maple butter just before serving.
