Hawaiian pizza crispy bites (gf)
This is the easiest crispy pizza bites. No dough required just spring roll rice wrappers and an air fryer.
Some say pineapple doesn't belong in pizza but I say it always belongs! The most delicious part is the sugar free Canadian bacon from US Wellness Meats.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Sugar-Free Canadian Pork Bacon Slices - US Wellness Meats, Chopped

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pizza Sauce

- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Pineapple, Canned
- 4 pieces4 pieces4 pieces Mozzarella, Sliced classic

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Set your air fryer to 400 degrees "Air Crisp" setting
- Use half of your Canadian bacon package and dice the meat
- Place into the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes
- While this is cooking take your canned pineapple rings and dice each ring into 10 triangular pieces
- Take a bowl and pour 1 cup of pizza sauce into it and set aside
- Place 4 slices of mozzarella cheese on top of each other and cut into 12 small squares
- Grab two plates and fill one with cool water, enough to submerge your rice paper
- Take a tbsp measuring spoon to put enough filling for each crispy bite
- Submerge rice paper into cool water for 10 seconds on each side
- Place onto dry plate
- Use your measuring spoon to place a dollop of pizza sauce, square of mozzarella, Canadian bacon and then pineapple
- Repeat this step 3 more times on the rice paper leaving enough space to cut the pieces apart
- Take your second rice paper and submerge into the water onto both sides for 10 seconds. Place the second sheet onto the first one and use your fingers to press the outer edges together to create a pocket
- Use a pizza cutter to cut all 4 pieces apart and fold/pull the outer edges onto each other
- Preheat air fryer on 400 degrees and "air crisp" again
- Spray the air fryer drawer with a non stick spray and place pizza bites in a singular layer
- Air fryer for 10 minutes or until golden brown
- Repeat until all pieces are cooked.
Notes
Some bites may stick if you don't spray the air fryer drawer with a non stick spray
