Homemade Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
This is a 1:1 replacement for a can of cream of mushroom soup.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms, finely chopped
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Yellow Onion, about half a medium onion, finely chopped
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 clove1 clove1 clove Garlic, minced
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
- 0.75 cup0.75 cup0.75 cup Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream)

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat and then add the mushrooms and onions and saute until tender for 6-8 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper and garlic. Saute for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with the flour, coating everything well. Saute for 2 more minutes.
- Whisk in the cream and coconut aminos. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and place in jar. Store in fridge or freezer.
