- Mix the sour cream, horseradish, scallion and in a small bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
You can enjoy the homemade horseradish cream sauce immediately, but letting it rest will enrich the flavor, and the scallion will settle beautifully with the sauce. Mayonnaise and creme fraiche can be used as well. Whichever combination you choose to go, make sure they add to a 3/4 of a cup.
