Italian Sgroppino Cocktail (3 ingredients!)
Ingredients
- .333 cup.333 cup.333 cup Lemon Sorbet
- 2 oz2 oz2 oz Prosecco, chilled
- .5 oz.5 oz.5 oz Vodka, chilled
Process
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve in a champagne flute garnished with a lemon twist or lemon slice.
Notes
Fruit - Mix in a tablespoon or two of strawberry puree or raspberry puree. Herbs - Add a few fresh basil leaves or fresh mint leaves. Sorbet - Use strawberry, raspberry, peach, or lime sorbet. Ice Cream - Lemon gelato or lemon ice cream can be used for a creamier cocktail. Non-alcoholic - Replace the vodka and prosecco with club soda or sparkling water. Un Blended - Instead of blending the drink, a scoop of sorbet can be added to a champagne flute, then topped with the vodka and prosecco. Vodka - Any type of regular vodka can be used. Take caution with flavored vodka, as some can be overpowering or conflict in taste with the lemon. Prosecco - A dry champagne or cava could be used as a substitute.
