Gluten Free Roasted Pretzel & Nut Snack Mix
I love keeping a good snack mix around, especially on game day. This recipe centers around three of my favorite brands, including Lark Ellen Farm's sprouted almonds and pecans, Jozo's gluten free tamari and Primal Palate's adobo seasoning. All three of these brands have become absolute staples in my pantry over the years. This recipe bakes up nicely in my medium non-toxic baking sheet that I reach for every time.
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Gluten-Free Pretzel Twists
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Organic Sprouted Almonds - Lark Ellen Farm

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Organic Sprouted Pecans - Lark Ellen Farm

- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Butter, Salted, melted

- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Barrel Aged Tamari Soy Sauce - Jozo

- 3 tsp3 tsp3 tsp Pure Maple Syrup

- 3/4 tsp3/4 tsp3/4 tsp Adobo Seasoning - Primal Palate

- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Paprika

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Line a medium baking sheet. Spread almonds and pecans on the sheet and dry roast for 5-8 minutes, stirring once, until just fragrant and lightly golden. Pull them before they deepen in color (they'll have time to roast more!).
- Reduce heat to 325°F.
- In a small saucepan, combine the butter, tamari, maple syrup, adobo, paprika, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, until the butter is melted and the mixture is fully combined.
- In a large bowl, toss the warm nuts and pretzels with the tamari mixture until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread back onto the baking sheet in an even layer. Roast for 8-10 minutes, stirring once halfway to prevent burning.
- Cool completely then transfer to a bowl and snack away!
