True Pho takes many hours to get the deep rich broth flavors. But with this recipe you will enjoy a comforting bowl in less than 20 minutes. Plus it is super flexible and you can add other vegetables as you like.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a medium pot on medium high heat cook the steak about 2 minutes each side until golden brown. Depending on the size of the pot you may have to do this in batches to not over crowd the pan.
  2. Add the broth, bok choy, and ginger, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add noodles and cook for 2 minutes, stir periodically.
  4. Spoon into bowls and top with cilantro and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

Depending on the brand of noodles you use, it may take a bit longer to cook. You can top with sliced scallions if you want to add an onion flare.
