Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Oil the bundt pan very well, be sure to get all the small creases.
  3. In a saucepan add the butter, water (or coffee), and cocoa. On medium-low heat use a whisk and melt and stir until well incorporated.
  4. Allow to cool slightly.
  5. In a large bowl add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir.
  6. Pour in the chocolate mixture. Use a large whisk to start to blend.
  7. Add the yogurt and stir well. This will help the batter cool down.
  8. Add one egg at a time, stir well then repeat with others.
  9. Add vanilla and stir.
  10. Pour the cake batter into the pan, about 1/2 cup in each well.
  11. Make for 18-22 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before turning out. Turn pan over and tap the bottom of each mound to help loosen the cake.
  13. Oil pan again.
  14. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  15. For ganache add ingredients to a small saucepan.
  16. Heat on lowest setting. Stir while butter and chocolate melts.
  17. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  18. Allow to cool slightly.
  19. Once cakes are done and cooled use a spoon and drizzle over the top. If you do this on hot cakes it will just melt off.

Notes

If you want to make one large Bundt cake use the same recipe but bake for 45-50 minutes. Be sure to stick a toothpick deep in the middle to check doneness.
