when you can’t find a seed oil–free legume snack, you take matters into your own hands 😤 hopped on amazon → ordered a GIANT bag of freeze-dried legumes (I used edamame) → brainstormed snack ideas while i waited for my prime delivery → & ended up with the ultimate spicy-sweet, electrolyte-packed, crunchy legume snack. healthy. flavorful. totally addicting. 💚

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 275.
  2. in a sauce pan over medium heat, add all ingredients, except freeze-dried legumes.
  3. heat until everything is combined & dissolved.
  4. remove from heat, then add in freeze-dried legumes.
  5. add legumes to a baking sheet; then bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  6. remove from oven, then allow to cool completely.
  7. enjoy on salads, in snack mixes, or just by the handful!
