dry ingredients
- 2.5 cups2.5 cups2.5 cups Six Mix Crispy Veggie Chips - Root Foods, or veggie chips, pretzels, or salty crunchy thing of choice

- 2.5 cups2.5 cups2.5 cups Cheddar Crackers - Cadootz, or GF crackers of choice
- 2.5 cups2.5 cups2.5 cups Grass-Fed High Protein Cereal, Cinnamon - Lovebird, or GF protein cereal of choice
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Pecans, or nuts & seeds of choice

- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Cinnamon Cashew Crunch Protein + Superfood Bar - B.T.R. Nation, or nuts & seeds of choice

wet ingredients
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Butter, Unsalted

- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup No-Sugar Hickory BBQ Sauce - Yo Mama's Foods

- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Golden Monkfruit Sweetener (with Allulose) - Lakanto

- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Chipotle Garlic Barbecue Blend - The Spice House
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Chipotle Smoked Salt - Texas Salt Co., or smoked salt of choice

add-ins
- Ancestral Beef Stick - Archer Jerky, or meat sticks of choice, diced

- spicy electrolyte glazed legumes (click for recipe), or any pre-made freeze-dried legume

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- preheat oven to 275.
- to a large bowl, add all dry ingredients; set aside.
- in a sauce pan over low-medium heat, add all wet ingredients; stir until everything is combined & dissolved.
- using a large spatula, thoroughly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
- add snack mix to a baking sheet; then bake for 60-75 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
- remove from oven, then allow to cool completely, then fold in add-ins of choice.
- store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week at room temperature or freeze for longer shelf-life.
Notes
build your own protein snack mix:
- dry ingredients:
- choose 2 bags (~5 cups) of salty + crunchy snacks - grain-free pretzels, seed oil free chips, fiber-boosted crackers, etc.)
- choose 1 bag (~2.5 cups) any protein-rich cereal (catalina crunch, seven sundays, & lovebird are my 3 favorites)
- choose 2.5 cups nuts, seeds, or crumble BTR nation bars (rich in protein & fiber!)
- wet ingredients:
- ¼ cup fat of choice - butter, coconut oil, bacon grease, etc.
- ½ cup sauce of choice (buffalo sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce, jams, etc. - mix & match whatever sounds good!)
- ½ cup golden monk fruit
- 3-4 T seasonings of choiceÂ
- optional add-ins:
- meat sticks (love sneaking in an organ meat blend here!)
- legume snacks (homemade or store bought): spicy electrolyte, miso wasabi
- dried cheese crisps
