Tahini Maple Glazed Snacking Bacon
The inspiration for this recipe comes from my current obsession with tahini, the iconic First Watch Millionaire Bacon, and my determination to make the best Super Bowl Party snack you can imagine! Made with US Wellness Meats Fresh Side Pork Bacon and Jozo Barrel-Aged Tamari, my tahini maple glazed bacon is sweet, savory, nutty, and perfectly caramelized in the oven. The combination of rich tahini, pure maple syrup, and tamari creates a sticky glaze that clings to thick-cut bacon and bakes into irresistible crispy edges with a glossy finish. A touch of crushed black pepper balances the sweetness and adds just enough bite.
Cooking bacon in the oven keeps things easy and mess-free while ensuring even cooking and consistent crispiness. Pro Tip: bake your bacon on a rack on top of a baking sheet so that the drippings don’t make the bacon soggy! I guarantee you’ll be the hit of the party with my tahini maple glazed snacking bacon!

- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, then place a cooling rack on top. This allows the bacon fat to drip away so the bacon crisps evenly instead of sitting in grease.
- Cut the bacon into thirds and arrange pieces in a single layer on the cooling rack, making sure they are not overlapping.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, maple syrup, and tamari until smooth and fully combined.
- Brush the glaze evenly over the bacon pieces, using about half of the mixture. Flip the bacon and brush with the remaining glaze. Top with crushed black pepper.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the glaze is caramelized. Keep a close eye during the last few minutes, as the maple syrup can brown quickly.
- Remove from the oven and let the bacon rest for 5 minutes. The glaze will thicken slightly as it cools.
- Serve warm or at room temperature as an easy, snackable appetizer.
