  1. set oats aside and blend all of the ingredients above in a blender until dates are no longer visible.
  2. place liquid in a pot on medium heat and allow to simmer.
  3. add oats and stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
  4. allow to cool and top with desired fruit or seeds.
