Capture the essence of chocolate-covered strawberries with this irresistible, no-bake treat. Perfect for Valentine's Day, but honestly, there's no day when this deliciousness of chocolate paired with strawberries wouldn't shine. This recipe calls for freeze dried strawberries which you can easily grab from the store ... but if you're feeling up for it, you can even try making your own in your oven or with a dehydrator. Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring each time until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler for melting.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the melted chocolate evenly in a thin layer on the parchment paper. Remember, the thinner you spread it, the thinner the bark will be!
  3. Sprinkle the strawberries onto the melted chocolate, gently pressing them in.
  4. Pop the sheet into the freezer to let it set (around 20 minutes).
  5. Once hardened, break the bark into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

For an allergy-friendly version, select gluten and dairy free ingredients. The thickness of your bark can be adjusted by how thickly you spread the chocolate; a thinner spread results in thinner bark, while a thicker spread creates a chunkier bark. And if you prefer it even a little sweeter, opt for semi-sweet or milk chocolate instead of the dark chocolate!
