The thing about immunity is that we really should be mindful of it all year round, not just in the winter. My Homemade Fire Cider is spicy, tasty, tangy and more. It is also great for supporting immunity, gut health, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, a decongestant, and circulation boosting. The best part is that you prep it once, and have it for months. It does take about 4 weeks to marinate, so I recommend starting it now to be ready ASAP. Once you are done marinating, start a new batch so you always have fire cider on hand. Get ready for a new kind of shot!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Slice and prepare all ingredients.
  2. Add all ingredients to the jar, saving the apple cider vinegar for last.
  3. Once you've added all ingredients, pour in apple cider vinegar. You want to make sure you cover all ingredients.
  4. Give it a stir, put on the lid, and store in a dry, dark place for 4 weeks. I put it in the back of a cabinet.
  5. Once your 4 weeks is up, drain your fire cider (don't forget a bowl underneath!).
  6. Store in an airtight jar and take 1 shot a day.
  7. Enjoy!
