This fruit cake inspired smoothie is the perfect smoothie for your baby who has started solids! If you want to make it for yourself, add some of your favorite protein powder in it and it can be a full on smoothie even for an adult!

  1. Put everything in a blender and mix it until it’s blended perfectly.
  2. Pour into a baby bottle or any cup your baby uses!

Notes

Applesauce contains vitamins B, C, E and K. Strawberries are a good source of vitamin C, manganese, folate (vitamin B9), and potassium. Dates offer fiber and variety of vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, B vitamins, copper, and magnesium. Pumpkin seeds are a great source of magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, protein and fiber. Brazil nuts are a good source of Selenium, vitamin E, and phenols, like gallic acid and ellagic acid. Hemp hearts are a good source of vitamin E and minerals, such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, and zinc.
