Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare your dates by slicing the sides. Remove the pit and arrange dates on a plate.
  2. Fill each date with peanut butter and insert four pieces of pecans on the inside of the wide end of the date for antlers.
  3. Once all dates are assembled with antlers, melt chocolate chips with oil to thin out and coat the top of each date with chocolate. Add a raspberry (cut in half if it is a larger one) for a nose, two white chocolate chips for the eyes (slice of tips if needed to flatten), and using a toothpick, create pupils using leftover melted chocolate.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chocolate hardens. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

If the dates are on the smaller side, simply insert two pecan halves instead of four, they will still look great!
