While I love all the holiday baking, sometimes you just need a low-effort recipe where all you need to do is mix a couple of ingredients in a bowl. If you're looking for a last-minute festive, crowd-pleaser, holiday dessert to make, this 5-minute Eggnog Dip is possibly the easiest one you can make! All you need is cream cheese, eggnog, sugar, vanilla extract and a few warm spices.  I like to serve this dip with Cinnamon Sugar Pita chips, but fruits such as apple & strawberries also make for a great accompaniment. So this holiday season, reserve some of that eggnog and make this delicious dip.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar, brown sugar, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  2. Add eggnog and whip again to combine.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon. If you have the Cinnamon Sugar Cookie spice blend from Primal Palate, use that instead.
  4. Serve with Cinnamon Sugar pita chips and some fruit such as sliced apples & strawberries. Enjoy!

Notes

To make a Vegan version of this dip, swap the regular cream cheese (I love the Kite Hill brand) and regular Eggnog with Oat-Nog (Elmhurst, Silk and Earth's Own have good ones). You can even use this dip as an icing on a sponge cake or pound cake.
