Stuffed Apple Hearts
Ahh Valentine’s Day. Who’s pumped for those candy sugar highs and meltdown lows coming your way? Didn’t think so. Let’s toss those sugary artificially dyed candy hearts to the curb and make some stuffed apple hearts instead! These treats are made with nutritious apples, protein-rich peanut butter, a dip of chocolate , and dye free sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 111 Apples, Honeycrisp, Sliced
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Peanut Butter
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Hemp Hearts, Optional
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup White Chocolate Chips, Melt with 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Sprinkles, Dye-free

- Slice apple into thin slices.
- Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, carve out hearts from your apples.
- Load on the peanut butter (and mix in optional hemp hearts for extra plant-based protein and omegas). Cover with another apple heart.
- Melt your white chocolate. Dip half your apple heart sandwich into the chocolate and then cover with sprinkles. Enjoy!
