Warm Brussels Sprout Salad
This warm Brussels sprout salad is such a fun and different way to enjoy them—it’s best served fresh and eaten right away! If you’re into Brussels sprouts, apples, and pecans with a tangy mustard vinaigrette, you’re going to love this one. My mother-in-law introduced me to it years ago, and every time I remember to make it, I wonder why I don’t do it more often! If you love warm salads, this warm arugula salad is another favorite we keep in our rotation!

- In a large skillet over medium-low heat, toast the pecans until fragrant, tossing occasionally to prevent burning. Set aside.
- Prepare the vinaigrette by shaking together vinegar, honey, mustard, shallot, salt and pepper in a jar with a lid until well combined (or whisk everything together). Adjust seasoning to taste.
- In the large skillet, warm oil over medium heat. Add Brussels sprouts and sauté, stirring occasionally, until softened but still slightly crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Pour the vinaigrette into the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and toss in apples and toasted pecans. Serve immediately!
Notes
This salad is best enjoyed fresh, while it’s warm and full of flavor—it doesn’t quite hit the same after sitting for a while or being reheated!
