Mozzarella, Prosciutto & Basil Baguettes (Edit recipe)

A light bite from the room temperature mozzarella, saltiness and heaven from the prosciutto, fresh basil and a garlicky baguette, all countered by a slightly tangy, slightly sweet balsamic. I could eat this every day.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Lightly toast a baguette and slice into 1/8 inch slices.
  2. Once they come out of the oven, rub a garlic clove over each slice 2-3 times.
  3. Slice mozzarella into slices similar to the toast and layer one piece on each toast.
  4. On top of the mozzarella, place a basil leaf.
  5. On top of that, place half a slice of prosciutto.
  6. Drizzle balsamic on top.
  7. Serve with a glass of your favorite wine and enjoy!
