- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and rinse until cooled.
- While the pasta is cooking, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel. Once cool enough, chop the crispy bacon as fine as possible.
- In a salad bowl, combine the cooked pasta, tomatoes, basil, parmesan cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, and salt and pepper and gently toss together.
